Today Greta leaked my water bottle from her “milks” so that Kezi could drink from her too. She wants to be just like mommy.
Do we try to be just like Jesus? Even if it looks funny to the outside world?

Little Girl decided it was time to change Baby Sister’s diaper. When I came in to the room Baby Sister was undressed and the diaper and wipes were at hand. Little Girl decided I should take over then.
Do we help our brothers and sisters out of messes? God is the strength behind the helping hands.
One day I was explaining to Little Girl how much Jesus loves her. She said, “and Kezi?” I said and Kezi. She was visibly relieved.
Jesus loves ALL the little children. Let them come to Him. (from Luke 18:16)
Little girl decided it was time to start potty training. She was startled when she actually micturated in the toilet. I clapped and praised her. Then she was so proud.
God lets us try new things. Let us look to Him for affirmation and praise.
Little Girl absolutely adores her little sister. She wants her to be involved with everything she does, even though baby sister is still a baby.
Are we excited to do life with our brothers and sisters in Christ? That is what it means to walk in fellowship with one another.
Little Girl and I made cookies. I let her dump and stir.
We had some friends over to eat our cookies. They loved them. What made them so good? The love that comes from giving freedom and having independence.
God does not micromanage us. He makes beautiful what we do for Him.
Baby is now a little girl. She helps me sweep. She knows how and takes great delight in doing so. When she is done I help get the last little bits and pieces.
God is right there, very involved in our life and decisions. It does not mean He is actively moving. Sometimes He is actively waiting, letting us do as best we can. He knows we experience joy when we get to do things on our own, and He is ready to help us when it gets too hard.
God uses our gifts and abilities just as they are.
We got Baby some blocks with her birthday money. When she woke up from her nap there were many towers waiting to be knocked down. There were so many, in fact, that she didn’t know what to do but just stood there staring at them for a long while.
God loves to give us lavish gifts. Do we appreciate them and stand in wonder of His love for us?
Baby is going to be a big sister. She doesn’t understand what that means, but we continue to tell her to prepare her and get her excited.
We might not always understand what God is telling us, but let us continue to listen and try to understand. God has grand things in store for us! (see 1 Corinthians 2:9)
Baby’s aunt gave her a large stuffed gorilla — bigger than Baby. Baby loves to fall into the gorilla and just snuggle. The gorilla is big, safe, and comforting.
God is big, safe, and our comforter. Do we fall into His arms?
